A producer is a person licensed to sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance. See RCW 48.17.010 (leg.wa.gov).
In Washington state, the health line of authority is referred to as "disability." The following terms all mean the same thing:

- Apply for your license online (nipr.com).
- Have your fingerprints taken. Note: We do not accept fingerprints prior to receiving an application.
Have your exam score report(s) ready because you'll need to attach them electronically or mail them to us.
Limited lines: surety, credit
- Schedule and pass your exam (surety or credit only) (www.psiexams.com).
- Apply for your license online (nipr.com).
