In recognition of the increasing role of AI in the insurance industry, Commissioner Kuderer formed the AI Advisory Board in 2025. While it has no regulatory or enforcement authority, its recommendations are intended to inform the Insurance Commissioner's policy development, regulatory oversight, and consumer education efforts.
