PSI Services, LLC provides insurance license exams in Washington state. To schedule an exam or obtain a copy of your score report, please visit PSI's website (www.psiexams.com) or give them a call at 855-205-5825.
Where can I take my exam?
You have the choice to take your exam at any of the PSI test centers or you can check if you qualify for remote testing. You can find information about fees, license eligibility, exam content outlines and testing center rules by reviewing the PSI candidate information bulletin (PDF, 489KB) (www.candidate.psiexams.com).
Test centers
There are 10 PSI test centers located throughout Washington state where you can take your examination:
- Arlington
- Bellevue
- Ellensburg
- Everett
- Olympia
- Richland
- Spokane
- Tacoma
- Vancouver
- Yakima
Remote testing
Laptops or desktop computers are required for remote tests. Smartphones and tablets are not allowed. PSI will test your device for compatibility. If your device or internet connection does not meet the requirements, you will need to schedule an exam at a PSI testing center.

Passing score for your insurance exam
You must score at least 70% to pass the Washington state insurance license exam.
Reimbursement for veterans
Qualifying military veterans may receive reimbursement of their insurance exam fees. To determine eligibility, please visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website (www.benefits.va.gov) or call 888-442-4551.
E-fingerprinting
E-fingerprint services are offered at all IDEMIA IdentoGo centers. Contact them at 888-771-5097 or via their website (www.identogo.com).
Prior to being fingerprinted, you must have submitted an insurance license application with the OIC.
