A license may be reinstated within 12 months of the date the license was canceled or it expired.
To reinstate, log into your account (fortress.wa.gov) and select "Reinstate License."
To reinstate your license, complete a reinstatement application and pay the reinstatement fees online.
You'll be notified via email once the application has been processed. Once the license is active again, you'll need to add new affiliations and appointments.
Using National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR)
Reinstatements are not available through NIPR's system.
We send NIPR our license information once every 24 hours. After NIPR receives updated information, it can take anywhere from 48 hours to 10 days for it to be displayed on NIPR. If more than 10 days have passed and your information is not displaying, contact us.
