Filing and Payment Center login instructions

If you are having difficulty logging in to the Washington state Office of the Insurance Commissioner payment portal, please follow the instructions for the issue you are encountering.

I need to reset the password for the primary or secondary contact

If you are a primary or secondary financial contact, please follow these steps to login and setup your password:

  1. The primary user ID is FIN(WAOIC number), for example, FIN123456. Please note, there is no space between FIN and the WAOIC number. The secondary user ID is FIN(WAOIC number)-1, for example, FIN123456-1. 
  2. Select the ‘forgot password’ tool on the webpage to reset the password. 
  3. All password resets will go to the email address on file (this will be the email address you provide above).
  4. Go to the Filing and Payment portal login screen.
  5. If you are not receiving the password update email, please repeat this process in another browser. 

I don't know my WAOIC number

If you do not know the WAOIC number for your organization, send a message to Company Supervision (select "financial filings from the drop-down category) with the following information:

  • NAIC number of your organization 
  • The full name of your organization

I need to become the primary contact

If you are a new primary financial contact currently please request that the previous primary financial contact at your company reassign the role to you. The primary contact can change who is assigned as the primary contact with an option in the Filing and Payment portal, please see the steps above to reset the password for additional information.

Please complete the following only if you are unable to resolve this issue within your organization:

If the previous financial contact can not complete this task, please send a message to Company Supervision (select "financial filings from the drop-down category) with the following information for more instructions:

  • NAIC number of your organization
  • The full name of your organization
  • Your full name
  • Your reason for needing to be the new primary financial contact 

Please be advised you or other members of your organization may be required to answer additional security questions to identify yourself as the new primary financial contact. 

I need to become the secondary contact

If you need to be added as the secondary contact, please contact the primary contact at your organization. The primary contact should follow these steps to add you as a secondary contact:

  1. Go to the Filing and Payment portal login screen.
  2. Select “secondary users” from the menu. 
  3. From that selection, the primary user can update the secondary user information.

Please be aware that not all insurance organization types have the ability to have secondary users.
