Open November 5, 2009 - November 19, 2009 - 5:00 pm: The OIC is seeking a dynamic individual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to serve as a Compliance Analyst (Functional Program Analyst 4) in our Consumer Protection Division located in Tumwater, Washington. This position is responsible for independent research, review, and analysis of insurance practices, contracts, forms, rates and other materials for compliance with insurance regulations, public policy, federal and state laws. This position assists the public and the industry by investigating consumer complaints against insurance companies and providing consumer education regarding Life, Annuity, Credit, Disability and Health insurance issues. The position also acts a technical insurance expert and liaison between the Consumer Advocacy Program and the public, as well as other agency programs, and assists with outreach, promoting agency services.

Open October 23, 2009 - Closes October 30, 2009: The OIC is seeking a dynamic individual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to serve as Information Technology Specialist 3 in the Operations Division, located in Tumwater, Washington.
This position is expected to work independently of the IT development staff and self-manage website migration effort from initiation to completion. This position is given wide latitude to independently originate, develop and drive the migration of the agency’s intranet website that will result in an enhanced and supportable intranet site. The incumbent is expected to have senior experience with Dreamweaver Contribute, including knowledge of how to setup and administer a new Dreamweaver Contribute website. Additionally, the incumbent is expected to have in depth knowledge of HTML, SHTML and classic .ASP.
