Washington State Health Insurance Pool report
We use the Washington State Health Insurance Pool (WSHIP) assessment report to collect health plan and stop-loss enrollment data. The data is used to determine each plan member's share of the WSHIP assessment. The report is due March 1st for the prior year's enrollment.
Who needs to submit the WSHIP assessment report?
The questions below will determine if you need to submit this report. Are you:
- An insurer whose Certificate of Authority lists Disabilities as an authorized class of insurance?
- A health care service contractor (HCSC)?
- A healthcare maintenance organization (HMO)?
- A self-funded multiple emloyer welfare arrangement (MEWA)?
For the questions above, if you answered:
- No to all then you are done and do not need to fill out this report.
- Yes to any then you must fill out and submit the WSHIP assessment report.
