Making comments

About comments

• Step. 1 Go to your search results.

• Step. 2 Look for the company you’d like to comment on.

• Step. 3 Click on the comments link for your insurance company. (If a decision has been made, the comment period is over. You can no longer post a comment about that rate request, but you can view what others said.)

• Step. 4 Under make a comment, type in your name, your location and your comments. Keep in mind, there’s a 1,000 character limit. Be sure to check your spelling! Once a comment is posted, you will not be able to edit or delete it.

• Step. 5 Click submit.

When you can comment

You can comment on any rate request while it is still under review. Once a decision is made, the comment period is closed.

The amount of time we have to review a rate request depends on the type of plan. Individual health plan rate requests must be reviewed within 60 days. Small employer plan rates do not have a review deadline.

Why can’t I see my comment?

Each comment is reviewed by a moderator and posted within 24 hours on weekdays.
