Public adjuster license

An adjuster is a person who investigates or reports claims arising under insurance contracts. A public adjuster represents the interest of the insured. See RCW 48.17.010 (

  1. Meet the experience and education requirements.
  2. Schedule and pass your exam (
  3. Have your fingerprints taken.
  4. Apply for your license online.

Have your proof of experience, exam score report and bond information (PDF, 19KB) ready; you'll need to attach them electronically or mail them in.
