What’s the difference between renewing and reinstating?
If it's no more than 60 days before or after your expiry date, you may renew your license. Note: If you renew within the 60-day period following your expiry date, you’ll be charged late-renewal fees.
If you're 61 days - but not more than 12 months - past your expiry date, you will need to reinstate your license and pay additional fees for reinstatement.
Note: If it's been more than 12 months since your license was active, you'll need to follow the requirements for first-time applicants.
