There are many types of insurance fraud, involving different groups of people, so we have two distinct groups to help fight fraud in Washington state:

• Our Special investigations Unit investigates criminal insurance fraud.
• Our Legal Division investigates complaints against insurance agents, brokers and companies that try to sell insurance without a license.
