Resident viatical settlement broker applicants must qualify as a life insurance agent and be appointed by each viatical settlement provider represented.

You can apply online or continue with the instructions below.
To satisfy qualification requirements, you must either be:
- Licensed as a viatical settlement broker in your home state or
- Have taken your home state's agent life exam in the last 2 years.
- Have passed a life insurance agent’s exam in a state within the 2 year period immediately preceding the date of the application, or
- Hold a valid license as a life insurance agent, or
- Viatical settlement broker in the resident state.

Provide the following:

- License fee: $100/each.
- Main location + each branch location within Washington.
- Filing fee: $5.
- Affiliation fee: $20.
- Fingerprints (for individuals only): $49.25
