National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC)

Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler actively participates as a member of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, joining 49 other states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. Territories. The national organization serves and assists insurance regulators in a variety of ways, coordinating regulatory activities, providing a clearinghouse for the exchange of ideas, and acting as a forum for the development of uniform policy, to name a few.

Commissioner Kreidler fulfills a number of duties for the NAIC serving as:

  • Chair of the Western Zone, representing 14 states. Guam and American Samoa, and serving on the NAIC's Executive Board
  • He also serves as Co-chair of the Market Regulation and Consumer Affairs Committee, a key group that deals with consumer protection, producer licensing, antifraud and market analysis issues.
